Bull Terrier Shot Protecting Owner
AN ENGLISH bull terrier was shot dead as it tried to protect its owner. The pet, named Bolo, was hit three or four times after his owner, a 24-year-old Moroccan man, was threatened by a gunman in Paddington. The owner was not hurt and the suspect, a stocky black man in his twenties, escaped in a van with two others. Police have yet to establish a motive for last Wednesday's attack.
